The Brainchild Studio

designing the unexpected since 1997...

Welcome to our studio (always a work in progress)

So what happens when you choose a studio in a renovated building?  Well, it's a process needless to say!  You can click here to visit the Chromedge Studio website and read more about the rich history of the building and area!

There is no such things as level floors, plumb walls or perfect windows in this building.  While some might find this a bit unsettling, we LOVE it for many reasons:  the history (both area and building), the creative energies of 25 other artist studios/galleries and the quirky atmosphere.  You can really feel the artist vibe the moment you enter the building!

We aren't open to the public but will open "by appointment" for any of our customers/clients.  We welcome you to the Open Studios which is part of Franklinton Friday (see more info below) and this is a monthly event on the 2nd Friday of every month.  Join us, experience the art yourself firsthand and check out all the artists in the area!

visit us in our studio on franklinton fridays... the 2nd friday of every month!

Where can you park when visiting Chromedge Studios?

There is parking on Rich Street and a lot behind the building (on Walnut Street).  There is also a grassy lot next to the building but take care cause cars have gotten stuck when the ground is wet (located between Chromedge Studios and corner of Lucas St).  There is construction scheduled on the new lofts/retail stores going in next the the Scioto River/Rich Street and this could mean limited on-street parking as work starts or continues.

Please note that parking can be VERY hard to find during various Franklinton Fridays too... remember there several microbrews, pubs, restaurants, studios, galleries and more in the area.

SOLO EXHIBITION!
We are excited to announce that we will be the Featured Artists on display in the Chromedge Gallery Area in November (11/9/2018).  Visit us, see our new works, explore the building and refresh yourself is extraordinary refreshments during our exhibit!
